A Home Depot employee used play money to steal about $400,000 from a Phoenix-area store over the past four years, according to a Secret Service investigation.

This is my first and last time I will ever hire Home Depot for anything. “If you do not feel it, or read the small print, you will totally believe it is real money,” reads a review of one such product that received 4.5 stars. If you click on those links and submit your card information, you’ll ending up with nothing — but you’ll find unauthorized charges posted to your account. One of those scams was 8 Figure Dream Lifestyle, which touted a “proven business model” and told... I've changed numbers and called a couple more times today, and pressed 1.

Jerry's Home Improvement is where I'll take my business from now on. They hire lots of people who like to hang out and refuse to help and put out a lot of disrespect. Not Bernie and Arthur days, for sure. Cash rich company, nothing spent on good service. Consistently have plenty of employees. They are just not expected to do their job or do it at a decent standard.
That unexpected text from the Postal Service , Costco, or The Home Depot telling you about an unclaimed package or a survey you can complete to claim a freebie is NOT from them. It’s Cyber Security Awareness month, so the tricks scammers use to steal our personal information are on our minds. If there’s one constant among scammers, it’s that they’re always coming up with new schemes, like the Google Voice verification scam. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation. Companies can ask for reviews via automatic invitations.
Or you might get texts about a chance to win a free gift card or a power tool. To claim your “reward,” you’re told to click on the link, answer some questions, and pay for shipping. If we look - for example - at a winery page, we don't rate the wine’s tastiness, but how the company sells it online (delivery, shipping, etc.). Would you be nervous to see security alerts from your bank?
Don’t click on links or respond to unexpected texts — including ones asking you to fill out surveys to get free items. If you think it could be legit, contact the company using a website or phone number you know is real. Don’t use the information in the text message.

I gave up because who has the time with work to keep trying to get things rectified, particularly when you cannot get a response? It’s poor business to keep damaging new products and expecting customers to pay full price. I will not be going to Home Depot again.
HD told the owner 2 people would be there to put it inside. Also It came on the 15th but was scheduled for Dec 26. Luckily I was there or it would have been sitting overnight on the sidewalk.
